In 2026, we invite you to be part of something truly special as CANSA celebrates 95 years of serving communities across South Africa.

Since 1931, CANSA has remained at the forefront of the fight against cancer through research, education, advocacy, care and support services. As we mark this remarkable milestone, our 2026 High Tea theme, ‘Let’s Celebrate Life, Survivorship, Caregiving and Love’, honours life, survivorship, caregiving, resilience, hope, and love.

Most importantly, every event helps raise essential funds that enable CANSA to continue providing life-saving programmes, patient support services, and care to those affected by cancer across South Africa. The CANSA High Teas give communities the opportunity to come together and make an impact for those affected by cancer in a beautiful, exciting and special way.

While each region will host its own unique programme, every event will share the same spirit of celebration, community, and compassion that has made the CANSA High Teas a longstanding favourite.

One of the most memorable aspects of our High Teas is the creativity and warmth of our hostesses and hosts. Hosting a table offers a wonderful opportunity to gather friends, colleagues, clients, or family members while supporting a meaningful cause.

Hosts are encouraged to decorate their tables according to the "Let's Celebrate" theme and provide teatime treats and refreshments for their guests. Detailed information regarding table décor guidelines, venue arrangements, logistics, and our updated judging process will be shared closer to each event date to assist hosts with their preparations.

Whether you're a seasoned host or considering joining us for the first time, we'd love to welcome you to this special anniversary celebration.

Did You Know?
Your donations enable free services, for example, CANSA Tele and Virtual counselling in most SA languages by trained counsellors, support groups (face-to-face; WhatsApp and FBK); guidance from our Clinical Nurses regarding coping with the side effects of cancer, cancer treatment, dietary tips, stoma care and pain management – enquire at info@cansa.org.za; our Advocacy department assists patients experiencing stock shortages, delays in screening and cancer treatment, and lack of access to appropriate pain management medications; transport to and from cancer treatment centres is provided to our cancer patients staying at CANSA Care Homes, who would otherwise live too far away to receive treatment. Children and teens with cancer and their parents / guardians stay at our CANSA TLC Lodges for free during treatment. Our two TLC wig banks for children / teens provide free wigs to those in need.
